Press/Review quotes

Hoff The Record

''A laddish driver who’s all about the “banter” (Asim Chaudhry, who was superb in BBC Three pirate radio spoof People Just Do Nothing and is the standout among the supporting cast again here)."
Michael Hogan, The Telegraph.

“It’s brilliantly funny in places and particular hats off to Asim Chaudhry (People Just Do Nothing) for his performance as driver Terry, a man who cannot contain his enthusiasm for the Hoff and is desperate (as anyone would be) to find out the secrets of Baywatch and Knight Rider and the man's life.”
Ben Dowell, Radio Times.

Eid Mubarak

"This has the makings of a sitcom pitch, not least from Asim Chaudhry's character Uncle Tony, an Asian Del Boy – more financially astute than Peckham's finest but possessing no more taste, spending his hard-earned on gold-plated fishtanks."
Steve Bennet, Chortle.com

People Just Do Nothing

“The set-up is original, the execution clever, the characters rich and the acting superb. From many wonderful moments, my favourite has to be Chabuddy G proudly showing off his latest money-making scheme: bags of peanut dust, everybody's favourite when all the peanuts have gone.”
Harry Venning, The Stage.

“Asim Chaudhry, who plays Grindah and Beats' pal Chabuddy G, is the show's secret ingredient. A Del Boy-esque chancer, a total fraudster and played perfectly by potential breakout star Chaudhry, he steals every scene that he's in.”
Alex Fletcher, Digital Spy.

“And finally there’s Chabuddy G, played by Asim Chaudhry, who hands down is my favourite character in People Just Do Nothing, because he’s just so god damn funny. You just know that when he’s in a scene he’s going to make you laugh. And whilst this might sound odd, making someone laugh out loud in a comedy isn’t exactly a given these days."
Elliot Gonzalez, italktelly.com

''Chabuddy G’s whole vibe is that of a contestant kicked off the Apprentice in the first week, and Chaudhry gets all the best lines here."
David Renshaw, The Guardian
